Joseph Merrell

Joseph "Joey" D. Merrell is an Alabama native who grew up along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Joey attended Gulf Shores High School, Baldwin County Virtual School and Foley High School. He went on to study Small Business/Entrepreneurship at Coastal Alabama Community College. From the beaches to the delta, Joey enjoys the natural beauty of South Alabama - and in his free time can be found strolling the beaches, swimming and enjoying the company of and making music with family and friends. 

Eager to join the work force, Joey landed his first job as a Guest Services Representative for a local water and amusement park at the age of 14. Working through school, he progressed through retail and restaurant management positions, ultimately landing the role of a Restaurant manager running a popular casual dining location in Orange Beach at the age of 19. 

Having an interest in Real Estate and a long time dream of being an entrepreneur, Joey set his sights on becoming a real estate agent and serving his local market with his tested aptitude for customer service, knowledge of the area, and business acumen. Joey had realized this goal before the age of 21, and is now applying his work ethic to help both buyers and sellers meet their real estate goals.
