Joann Fanning

As a licensed real estate agent with Exit Elite Realty in Arnold, Missouri, I’m proud to work side-by-side with my partner, Craig Mathis. Together, we bring a personal, dedicated approach to every client, helping individuals and families through one of the biggest decisions of their lives—buying, selling, or leasing a home. At Exit Elite, we’re surrounded by what we call “framily”—friends who feel like family—which truly makes our work feel like home.

My journey in a real estate career began years ago in Illinois, while working a full-time job in St. Louis as a single mother, along with learning and working with a real estate brokerage in Edwardsville Illinois, all the while raising my now two grown sons with their own families. It was not easy. I decided to continue my education, earning a BA in Psychology, while working full time in the OEM automotive industry. I then ventured out to other venues. I was honored to work as an Executive Assistant to the VP of Education with behavior disorder and special education students, and as a Teacher’s Assistant also dedicated to special education and behavior disorder children. I was always interested in law and became a paralegal working mainly for estate planning and corporate attorneys. During this diverse journey, I gained a deep appreciation for detail, communication, and client care. These experiences now guide the way I serve my real estate clients with empathy, organization, and knowledge.

Outside of work, life is full! I love spending time with my family and grandchildren, and I’m always up for a spontaneous trip when time allows, including motorcycle adventures. Every day in this business brings new faces and stories, and I consider it a true privilege to play a role in helping others find a place to call home.
