Douglas Bates

I am a real estate professional who loves helping people find the right home. I understand that buying or selling a house is a big deal, and I'm all about making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. With my honest approach and deep understanding of the market, I hope to make all of my clients feel confident and informed every step of the way.  But real estate is just one part of my life. In my spare time, I  am also a sports official calling Football, Basketball or Baseball.  You may see me at one of your local ball parks, football fields or gymnasiums.  

I am married to an amazing and very supportive wife, Robbie, who I love spending time with. We have four adult children and four grand-children, who are a large part of our lives. Being a grandfather is just one of my greatest joys, and I love making memories with my family, whether it's playing, exploring, or spending quality time together. I believe in putting Christ and my family first in my life.

During the school year, I drive a special needs school bus for the Child Development Center in Cullman, AL. Special needs children hold a special place in my heart. 

Whether I am helping someone find their dream home, umpiring or refereeing, or chasing my grand-children around the backyard, I try to bring passion and dedication to everything I do. I love connecting with people, serving others, and making an impact in both the community and my family.
