Born and raised in Daytona Beach, I've had the pleasure of living here all my life. I have over 30 years experience in real estate investment, construction and land development. I have presided over prosperous and highly regarded companies that have built the citys infrastructure, including its highways, bridges, sewer and water systems. I've personally invested as a general partner in the development of the oceanfront Marriott Hotel (now the Hilton) in Daytona Beach. I serve on the local board of Directors of SunTrust Bank. I have served as Chairman of the Board of the Greater Daytona Area Chamber of Commerce, President of United Way and numerous other community activities.
