Maggie Stetson

My name is Maggie Stetson, and I have resided in the Lake Hartwell area for all of my life. Originally from Dewy Rose, I currently reside in Hartwell, the namesake for the beautiful Lake Hartwell. I have seen both the Elbert County, as well as, Hart County area become thriving “small town” communities, where everybody knows each other, but there is plenty to do for whatever stage of life you might find yourself in. I am honored to assist buyers, sellers, and investors in the Hartwell, Elberton, and surrounding areas find the perfect properties they are looking for. The Hartwell area has experienced great growth with new businesses popping up and reviving the downtown area, and the Elberton area has seen a great move of people moving to live and raise their families in the same community in which they grew up and made some of their best memories. I specialize in helping first-time buyers find their perfect home, as well as, helping people sell and purchase their forever home or second home in their dream location whether that be on the lake, in the country, or in the city limits in a beautiful historic home.

I received my license in the Summer of 2021 after being around the real estate business since 2016 when I completed various clerical tasks for a local office. I fell in love with what real estate was all about, which is building relationships while helping people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives, buying or selling a home, by taking the various tasks and decisions of this off of the individual themselves. With a background in education, I love being able to help people achieve their dreams and aspirations whether in the classroom or in the real estate market. Our brokerage has been helping clients in the Hartwell area for over 15 years. Located in downtown Hartwell, with offices all across the Georgia Lake Country area and in the middle Tennessee area,  we are able to service clients from middle Tennessee to middle Georgia, as well as, across the state line into South Carolina. 

An Elbert County native and now a Hart County resident, I attended high school in Elberton, and upon graduation, I went on to attend the University of Georgia in Athens, where I studied Special Education. I continued to further my education by obtaining a Masters of Education in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. I currently teach Special Education in the community that I grew up in. My husband, Logan (who is also an EXIT Realty Lake County agent), and I enjoy living in the area we grew up in with our sweet dog, Apollo. We enjoy long days on the lake, but most of all, we enjoy spending time with friends, family, and clients, who become part of our extended family.
