The Jemez Mountains are a true gem of New Mexico. They hold many beautiful lands, rivers, streams, rich historical sights. Which lend to a fine array of inside and outdoor activities; such as fishing, hiking, biking, skiing, rock climbing and simply taking in the fresh air and gorgeous surroundings. Los Alamos has a small-town charm with its own history while surrounded by all this nature, but also holds the Los Alamos Laboratory and ski hills of fun.

My ties to the Jemez Mountains and Los Alamos area are strong. My family has lived in the Jemez Valley dating back to 1633. I currently call Ponderosa and Los Alamos home. I have worked over 26 years with Los Alamos National Labs where I was the first female Accelerator Operator at the LANSCE facility. I received my Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Emergency Management from Eastern New Mexico University, my Associates of Applied Science in Electro-Mechanical Technology from the University of New Mexico. I work two jobs cause I love them both and give both my all.
