Karen Polanco

Karen Denise Polanco was born in El Paso, Texas, and raised there. She attended Hanks High School and UT Arlington, where she majored in Business and Travel and Tourism. She has over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Her primary responsibilities included sales, marketing, and operations. She worked for Marriott Hotels for ten years, Hilton Hotels for three years, and Wyndham Hotels for three years. This does not include the three boutique hotels she built from the ground up.

She was able to obtain her real estate license in 2011 as a result of her success. She has worked for Century 21 The Edge, Majestic Realtors and Bella Homes, Keller Williams, and for the last three years, Home Pros Real Estate Group, where she manages Team Haus, a team of four agents. Karen has experience working with buyers, sellers, rentals, commercial, builders, and even non-profit organizations.

Her ultimate goal is to take her hospitality management experience and incorporate all aspects of hospitality into her real estate business. Karen's main success factors are consistent marketing, follow-up, business knowledge, and excellent customer service. She will continue to be successful and strive in the real estate industry if she incorporates these four main principles.

Karen is also the proud mother of two children. Kaitlyn (22) and Aiden (13) make everything she does worthwhile. She tries to instill good work ethics in her children and emphasizes the importance of work-life-family balance in everything she does. In 2018, she married Isaac Barcena (a past high school sweetheart).
