Hi, I’m Katherine. Born and raised in New York State, I’ve lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 30 years now. When I first moved here, I immediately fell in love with the beauty and serenity of the Gulf Coast and the friendliness of those who lived here. The Gulf Coast has weathered many storms through the years, with residents—our families and friends—coming together to help each other recover from hurricanes and other natural disasters.  Our recovery after Hurricane Katrina (2005), especially, is a testament to the caring nature and resiliency of our Gulf Coast community.

This coastal area has become a hot spot for tourists, many of whom not only visit but often return to call the Gulf Coast “home.” Vacationers, snowbirds, or full-time residents—all are welcome!

We have multiple casinos scattered throughout two coastal communities, from Biloxi to Bay St. Louis. These industries invest heavily in our state and local economies. In addition, top corporations, respected military bases, award-winning schools, and excellent medical facilities provide a stable labor environment and a thriving economy—a perfect place to launch a career.  Together, our cities have been consistently celebrated as among the top 10 most affordable places to live in America. We have more than 60 miles of coastline, the largest man-made beach in the U.S., amazing local cuisine, exciting Mardi Gras events, beautiful beachfront hotels, historic landmarks, trails to hike or bike, and waterways to enjoy nature.

There’s no time like the present for a visit—or a permanent move.

The Gulf Coast has a long involvement with several military installations. I’m proud to say my daughter is an Air Force pilot serving as a Hurricane Hunter, (she’s also an aerospace engineer). She will fly into storms each year to provide storm-related data that may well save lives. Like my daughter, many military members make the area their homes. As a Gulf Coast resident, I spend my free time on the water kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating, or visiting local attractions such as Ship Island.

I’ve always enjoyed nonprofit work, and in 2019, I founded my own nonprofit. Our mission at Mississippi Heroes is to celebrate those who help others, whether family, professional, or community caregivers. This group holds a special place in my heart.

I am a people person by nature and look forward to bringing you into our EXIT circle of satisfied clients. I have a true passion for real estate and love to help others buy and sell residential or commercial property, find that special investment property, or find the perfect piece of land.
